About Us

Advanced Process Design Ltd is an independent process engineering consultancy based in the North West, working with EPC contractors, engineering consultancies, project developers and plant operators.

Our specialism is distillation and separation, developed over a doctorate at the University of Manchester and fifteen years in industry: demethaniser and NGL recovery flowsheets, nitrogen rejection units, column internals design, and cryogenic CO2 separation and liquefaction.

Alongside that we work across onshore gas processing, relief and flare systems, hydrogen and carbon capture, and energy from waste.
